Now that we have reached the handover phase, it is time to organise your depreciation schedule. Someone from our office will provide you with information regarding the application and costs associated with your depreciation schedule.

TAX VARIATION

In order to maximise your deductions, you will need your accountant to prepare and submit an S1515 Tax Variation Application, immediately following settlement based upon the Depreciation Schedule completed. Should you require any assistance with your Tax Variation, please contact us, for us to direct you to the right person.

DEPRECIATION SCHEDULES

The depreciation of an investment property’s building, fixtures and fittings forms a very important part of an investor’s allowable deductions. These “non-cash expenses”, depending upon each investor’s personal circumstances, may be offset against any rental income and consequently reduce tax liability.
